PHILOSOPHY
Our Philosophy to wall texture design guided by a personal touch, combines the essential elements of quality materials, the imperfect look
and feel of raw finishes and all things handmade that become warm, serene and nourishing spaces.
The spirit at Expose Conccrete has been curious, intuitive, artistic and entertaining from the start, manifesting the care and skill invested
in what we create. The resulting objects and installations challenge us to recognize the full potential and role of concrete in contemporary
architecture and design.
INSPIRATION
The forming of Expose Concrete was an accidental one. Derived from a designer Tom Harka and a maker, Expose Concrete first came about through a exhibition in Jakarta –
Indonesia.
“We designed and handmade the Papuma 3D concrete Tiles, a traditional- patterned parquetry concrete tile. The results were magical. The process forced us to look at the problems of concrete. The strength, colour, durability, sealer, packaging and much
more. “
6 years later, Expose Concreteod has developed a range of design some 35 models, including for walls cladding and concrete flooring.
We offer 16 colours, but more importantly we solved these issue.
CONCEPT
STRENGTH, COLOUR & DESIGN
By improving the strength, we were able to design the Indonesia first contemporary 3D Concrete tiles and concrete range. A unique range that gives scope for a whole new way to explore interior design.
A SOLID COLOURING SYSTEM
Expose Concrete, concrete is pigmented with 100% chemical free colour, so the basins are 100% coloured throughout.
MANUFACTURING
Each step of the process is being crafted by hand and watched over by attentive eyes. From the very beginning until packaging at least 10 pairs of caring hands are taking part in the process of mixing, moulding, grinding, selecting and treating the tiles before they get to leave the manufactory.
Design and production live in constant symbiosis, guided by a process based on knowledge, experience and intuition. All Expose Concrete tiles are handmade.
AWARDS
